The hook is the best use of that useless girl from the Sound
Heard ... Andy Langer's weekly podcast, again, and liked it. Clocking in at just over 5 minutes each week, this large-footed critic (pictured here) nails the need-to-know rock notables.
Saw ...
Cypress Hill's B-Real pull up to the Rainbow on Sunset in a new model Caddy, park in the alley, step out, backed by a cloud of the funny, funny. For those wondering if he's getting enough to eat, the answer is yes.
FYI: Today's headline refers to Langer's opinion of Cobra Starship's Maja Ivarsson and the movie track, ""Snakes on a Plane (Bring It)."

I like The Sounds and "Bring It" is quite catchy :) Cobra Starhip's "Hollaback Boy" is funny.
welcome back to the blogsphere.
Andy Langer has a brief, but great, piece in the latest Esquire, with a recap of year-to-date music. Pretty good stuff.
Like the photo. Reminds me of "Phi Krappa Zappa."
That's a cool resource. That first cut from this week's podcast by "Mountain Goat," I believe, was interesting, and sounded like how the bastard son of Morrisey and Nick Drake would cover "A Good Year for the Roses." Which is not necessarily a bad thing.
No doubt, B Real has somethin fo yo ass.
